H2020-MSCA- ITN-2017- EJD: Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks (European Joint Doctorate) – Grant agreement nº: 765423 – MANNA
A total of eleven Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions (PhD studentships) are available for 36 months from October 2018 onwards within the European Joint Doctorate MANNA (http://www.phd4manna.eu/).
At the date of enrolment (the first day of the employment of the ESR for the purposes of the action i.e. the starting date indicated in the employment contract or equivalent direct contract) by MANNA applicants she/he:
- must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience measured from the date when the researcher obtained the degree entitling her/him to embark on a doctorate) of their research career and have not been awarded a doctoral degree;
- may not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of their recruiting organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the start of the project. Short stays such as holidays and/or compulsory national services not taken into account.
Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates, starting from April 2nd 2018 until the deadline for applications on May 21st 2018.
To be considered for admission, applicants must hold at the time of the enrolment a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc, BS) and a Master Degree (MSc, MS, MRes) or Veterinary Medicine and Science degree with a minimal combined total of 240 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), or 480 UK credits, in one of the following areas: animal or dairy science, veterinary medicine, biomedical science, biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or agronomy, computer sciences and mathematics.
